The Great American Write In

Will take place on March 24th. For the 18th year, MANA de Orange County will participate and be represented by our beautiful Armida Brashears!

Here’s an opportunity to write letters to your representatives in the California State legislature and the U.S. Congress; tell them how you want them to vote on important issues.  Saturday, March 24th from 9:30 to 1 pm, at Lakeview Senior Center; Woodbridge Community Park, Irvine. Free admission, parking, refreshments and free postage. Stop by the MANA table; learn about the importance of Health Care.

The HEEF Scholarship

The HEEF Scholarship interviews on Saturday, March 24 at Santa Ana College, Cesar Chavez Building, 1530 W 17th Street, Santa Ana, 92706. Orientation and Continental Breakfast: 8 to 8:45 am; Student Interview: 9 to 11:50; Lunch:  12 to 12: 45 pm.;  Interviews: 1 to 4:00 pm.  You may still volunteer for the morning or afternoon session—or the whole day. Free parking at lots #2, 3, and 4 – Look for red arrows.    Entrance to Cesar Chavez Bldg. is at S-E part of building.
